Terms and conditions

1. Lending criteria, terms and conditions apply to the Student Travel Loan. Applicants must be aged 18 or over and parental guarantee may be required. Applicants must be students attending a full time course, proof will be required. The Travel Loan must be fully repaid within 9 months to avoid interest charges. Thereafter the standard student variable interest rate will apply on any outstanding balance, currently 11.9% APR variable as at 24th February 2010 and is subject to change. The repayments on a typical student loan of €400 over 12 months are €35.41 per month based on a variable rate of 11.9% APR variable and not including Payment Protection. The total cost of credit is €24.92. The rate quoted is effective as at 24th February, 2010 and is subject to change.
